Resume Stuff Company - Island Lawn & Garden will be entering its 20th year in 2010. We currently service over 100 customers on Martha's Vineyard and had an employee count of 6 people this past year. Financial growth is important to the company so that it can continue to attract qualified people and then retain them. A strong core of permanent, full time, knowledgeable employees is critical to providing our customers with required landscaping services in the spring and fall seasons.
Personal - After receiving a BA from Middlebury College and an MBA from Boston University, the first 20 years of my career were spent in the high tech industry in the greater Boston area. Since moving the Vineyard in 1990, I have been able to combine a life long passion for things horticultural with my previous business experience. The result is that ILG has become one of the larger of its type of companies on the Island. I love what I do. I love the many excellent relationships we have with our customers. And I love the many times each day and week that I can look at a job and say, "That is very well done." |
